Tuning in to Teens Parenting Programs
Most of us know from our own experiences, and those around us, that adolescence can be a particularly difficult and trying time, for parents and young people alike, as the adolescents wrestle between their needs for connection and autonomy (both of which remain important!).
Tuning in to Teens is an evidence based parenting program created by Professor Sophie Havighurst, Ann Harley, and Dr Christiane Kehoe from the University of Melbourne, developed to specifically address the unique emotional needs of teenagers and their parents, and improve parent-teen relationships, by teaching emotion coaching skills to help families manage conflict and strengthen connections during adolescence.
Tuning in to Teens is a 6 x 2hr session parenting program for parents of children aged 10-18 years
